Cygnus olor

English: Mute Swan (Cygnus olor), juvenile. Photo taken near Vanhankaupunginlahti, Finland. The location is listed in Ramsar "List of Wetlands of International Importance". Although not evident from the picture, this image was taken on the day of first snow. Note the dark and somewhat curious colours of this adolscent bird, which will later turn bright white with orange beak.
