Description
English: Butte, MT. circa 1925. Left to right: Gustave (Grandpa), Oscar (U of Montana class president, dog racer), George "Jiggs" (basketball coach U of Montana), Harry "Swede" (coach Butte H.S.), Mel (US Post Office), Albert "Al". All the brothers but Mel graduated from the University of Montana. Harry, George, Oscar and Al all lettered in Football, and became known collectively as "The Four Norsemen from Butte." Photo was taken at home where they were all born, at 809 Placer Street, Butte Montana.
