DescriptionGospel.temperance.railroad.map.jpg |
English: Allegorical gospel temperance railroad map.
Starting from "Decisionville" in the State of Accountability at the left, one can take the "Great Celestial Railroad" that leads towards the Celestial City on the River of Life in Beulah Land, the "Great Destruction Route" which leads towards the City of Destruction next to the Outer Darkness, or the "Way That Seemeth Right", which either leads towards Destruction, or at best ends at Gambledale near the Scandal Beach of Beer Lake in the State of Bondage. However, the Mercy River and River of Salvation (flowing into the River of Life) cross the Way That Seemeth Right. Includes numerous other symbolic or allegorical placenames. Signature "G.E.B. 2-'08" at lower left. |
