Description
Français : Le Mont Saint Michel, 50170 Basse Normandie France, son abbaye, son architecture, sa baie.

Il devient l'un des plus grands centres de pèlerinage médiéval. Les bénédictins y construisent une abbaye à partir du Xe siècle. Monument millénaire, presque 1300 ans de constructions et de transformations. Fortifié lors de la guerre de cent ans. Prison aux pires heures de la révolution Française et jusqu'en 1863. Classé monument Historique en 1874.

Classé sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l’Unesco en 1979.
