Three New Boundary Markers!!!.....thanks to an invitation received through Flickr from the Milestone Society, to attend their Annual Conference at the Transport Museum today. These are not on public display, but are located in a narrow gap, concealed by a tatty black curtain behind the Thrust exhibit. We are attempting to get some information about each of the markers, but I have made some deductions from my maps. The Allesley one I think is either from the end of Washbrook Lane, or from Lower Eastern Green Lane. The Berkswell one I suspect was from Tanners Lane, and the Baginton one may have been from the edge of the Stonebridge Highway, either in St Martins Road, Howes Lane or Mill Lane. |
