The mistakes of this map Polska 1386 - 1434 created 2010 are according with the « Ilustrowany atlas historii Polski »’s mistakes (ed. Demart, Warshaw 2006). Other contributors tried, before me, to correct this mistakes, but the uploader revert their work ! My new modification is according with this sources : the « Történelmi atlasz » (Historic atlas), Akademiai Kiado, Budapest 1991, ISBN 963-351-422-3 CM ; the Jean Nouzille’s book « La Moldavie, Histoire tragique d'une région européenne » éd. Bieler (2004), (ISBN 2-9520012-1-9), the « Atlas historique Georges Duby », Larousse, Paris 1987, ISBN 2-03-503009-9, the André & Jean Sellier's « Atlas des Peuples », La Découverte, Paris : « Europe centrale » : 1992, ISBN 2-7071-2032-4 and « Orient » : 1993, ISBN 2-7071-2222-X, the Constantin C. Giurescu & Dinu C. Giurescu book, « Istoria românilor din cele mai vechi timpuri până astăzi » (History of the east-romance speaking people since the oldest times to today), Academia româna, Bucharest 1975, the « Atlas istorico-geografic », Academia româna, Bucharest 1995, ISBN 973-27-0500-0 … who shows the principality of Moldavia as a vassal & allied of Poland between 1387 & 1497, but not a part of the polish kingdom and not a stronghold of the Polish king (even if the « Ilustrowany atlas historii Polski » contains this mistake). At the same time, the shoreline in the Danube Delta wasn’t in 1386 - 1434 the same as today ; the Danube delta was moldavian until 1484 and « Akkerman » is the turkish name (1484) of Bialgorod, not another city. We add the moldavian & the genovese names of this places, and the Theodoros principality, missing on the Poznaniak’s source. Please don’t reintroduce the mistakes reverting my improvements. Jeżeli masz konkretne merytoryczne uwagi do mojej pracy to proszę je wyartykułuj poprawnie, w języku polskim z podaniem poważnych źródeł. W przypadku źródeł w języku innym niż polski do oryginalnej publikacji winno być dołączone tłumaczenie przysięgłe na język polski sporządzone przez tłumacza przysięgłego wpisanego na listę prowadzoną przez Ministra Sprawiedliwości. W tym miejscu nadmieniam, iż prace żabojadzkie itp. nie są wiarygodnymi źródłami dla historii Rzeczypospolitej. Powyższa chaotyczna lista nie spełnia tego wymogu. Z uwagi na sporządzenie powyższych żali w jakimś prymitywnym języku używanym w Liberii, Rwandzie czy innych krajach trzeciego świata, ich treść jest zupełnie niezrozumiała. Wobec powyższego proszę abyś więcej nie wandalizował mojej pracy w paincie, ponadto wprowadzając błędne sformułowania, nieistniejące w języku polskim, jak również anachroniczne krzaczki (język rumuński jest zapisywany alfabetem łacińskim od 1860 r.). OK, it's a map in polish language, for the polish people. About the toponymic forms, if the polish forms are valid before 1860, why the old moldavian forms as Сȣчαϐα (translitterated Suceava) aren't ? Poland has a history, a culture, an alphabet : Moldavia not ? What a contempt for the Poland's neighbours... what a contempt for the polish people (and also for the other readers who find this map in many Wiki articles, in many other languages) to reintroduce, for them, the mistakes about the Danube Delta, the shoreline, « Akkerman » & « Bialgorod » as two different cities, the Theodoros principality, etc... what a contempt for Wiki to refuse any amelioration of this (good) work and to consider this map as not-perfectible... and what a contempt for me (and others until me) to consider us not as colleagues, but as « vandals » ! What a shockingly rude response! This discussion is on Wikimedia Commons and your map is in use on several different language wikis. You should expect multi-lingual discussions. The best solution is probably just to remove the map from the English Wikipedia article if it’s inaccurate, as it seems like there is no good will here to discuss these issues sensibly. A much more friendly and co-operative option would be to produce your maps in SVG format so that they could be reused and relabelled in different languages.

Najlepszym rozwiązaniem jest prawdopodobnie po prostu usunięcie mapy z anglojęzycznego artykułu Wikipedii, jeśli jest niedokładna, ponieważ wydaje się, że nie ma tu dobrej woli, aby sensownie omawiać te kwestie. Hey everyone! I'm a bit confused. I've just used this map in an article, and I'm not 100% sure to what extent the current version is accurate. 6.5 years have passed since the discussion, but the latest edit to the file is that "reverting the vandal". @Poznaniak, would you be able to address the arguments? Mołdawia była czasowo wasalnym księstwem królestwa polskiego, a nie lennem króla polskiego, chociaż niektóre błędne źródła "Ilustrowany atlas historii" tak twierdzą. Oskarżenie o wandalizm która przywraca fakty i źródła, jest niesprawiedliwe. --Trecătorul răcit (talk) 17:46, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

I don't understand how Poznaniak is not banned permanently from Wikimedia Commons because of his racist and derogatory language. This is inadmissible.--Jakeukalane (talk) 01:19, 8 April 2022 (UTC)
