English: Microraptor ("Small thief"), a small Dromaeosaurid dinosaur from China, believed to have lived in the Early Cretaceous period, about 120 Mya. Microraptor was the smallest dinosaur and it glided tree to tree. It has been well known for its possessing of 2 pairs of wings, e.g. a "Tetrapteryx".
