Help to recover @voidlucy photos

Her photos were deleted, but only one wasn't a selfie. Is it possible to restore them? I will ask her to comment these photos are under cc license. The bizarre thing is that with the license all irregular, an editor accepted and saved it from being deleted. Theys York (talk) 03:35, 1 October 2022 (UTC)

She had sent the authorization. The last time I saw it, someone had put a notice on the photo on Commons and said it was under review. But then they deleted it and got the warning "No ticket permission achieved for more than 30 days". I don't know if no one accepted the ticket or it was found to be invalid. Hi Jeff G. Would you mind taking a look at File:Sheila Atim (Keira).jpg? It's sourced to Flickr and it's license was verified by FlickreviewR 2, but the source link doesn't seem to be working any longer. The same photo can be found here, but that's not released under an acceptable license and the Flickr account is for a different theatre even though the photographer is the same. -- Marchjuly (talk) 13:57, 7 October 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for looking into this. I've got some other questions, this time about File:General Yahya Khan in 1966.jpg and File:Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan.jpg. Both these files are sourced to the same Flickr photo and they were both uploaded under a {{PD-Pakistan}} license even though the Flickr is claiming "All right reserved". Do you think these files are OK as "PD-Pakistan" despite the Flickr claim?

"File:General Yahya Khan in 1966.jpg" was uploaded first, but perhaps the uploader of the second file thought it better for a bit cleaner version to be used instead. Instead of updating the first file, they upload a new file. The first file was tagged with {{Db-g7}}, but that no longer seems applicable since over a week has passed since the file was uploaded per Commons:Deletion requests/File:General Yahya Khan in 1966.jpg. Does this file need to go to DR instead? Was it necessarily to upload two separate files since everything else seems the same? -- Marchjuly (talk) 21:37, 9 October 2022 (UTC)

@Marchjuly: Uploader Lefjag filed {{Db-g7}} timely in this edit 02:53, 19 August 2022 (UTC), just 3d13h41m after uploading 13:12, 15 August 2022‎ (UTC). Yann noted that the file was in use and started Commons:Deletion requests/File:General Yahya Khan in 1966.jpg, closing after 16+ days. Lefjag then filed two more speedy deletion requests, the last because "this photo is identical to this photo". Of the two, I prefer File:General Yahya Khan in 1966.jpg because it has better white balance and higher resolution, while KhalqiRevolutionary's File:Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan.jpg has no more redeeming qualities, so I tagged File:Agha Muhammad Yahya Khan.jpg as a scaled-down duplicate. Thank you for taking a look at these files. What do you think about the Flickr account claiming the file as "All right reserved"? Do you think that's just a mistake and that the photo is PD-Pakistan or do you think it's not clear that the photo is PD? There's very little information provided about the photo beyond what's written in the Flickr description and the Commons file's description. How is it known that the file was taken on 24 September 1966 as the Commons uploader is claiming? -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:44, 10 October 2022 (UTC)

@Marchjuly: It seems from the flickr album about him that Yahya Khan was a General, then became President in 1969, then was deposed and imprisoned in 1971. It seems likely he stopped wearing his medals (pictured) in 1969. This newspaper article from 26 March 1969 uses the subject photo (albeit with resolution and defects consistent with records of newspapers from that time). Some Flickr users tag everything they post as ARR. {{PD-Pakistan}} appears to be good through 1971.   — Jeff G. ツ _{please ping or talk to me} 10:39, 10 October 2022 (UTC)

What were you thinking when writing that comment? Saying that some preferences regarding licences imply that a person is mentally ill! We should try to keep the discussions civil, and especially regulars like you should be careful about it. My knowledge of these templates wasn’t the problem: at the time I used {{Vn}}, it redirected to {{Neutral}}, and I correctly used it with that meaning. Since then, for some reason, Eric changed the redirect target for {{Vn}}. This broke my comments, along with hundreds of other discussions. I have started a discussion on Eric’s talk page about this. رفع الصور

1-اليوم اطلعت غلى تعليمات رفع الصور في كمومنز ، قمت بمراجعة الصور الكثيرة التي على الهاتف المحمول الخاص بي وصور من الجهاز القديم الخاص بي من تصويري ،وصور منها نشرت على حسابي الفيسبوك ، وكنا نرفع منها ،، 2- سنقوم برفع الصور فقط من الكاميرا من الجهاز في المستقبل. 3- وإذا حصلت ربما إشكالية سابقة في رفع الصور وهذا بسبب فني بدون قصد وبدون معرفة كاملة طرق رفع الصور . 4-اليوم رفعت صور للتوضيح أرجو الإطلاع عليها ،وسكرا 5-ما يحصل لا يكون المقصود خرق حقوق النشر ،انما اخطأ بدون قصد وأسباب فنية وعدم معرفة برفع الصور في كمومنز. نشكركم على المتابعة مع التحيات M sh شراونة محمد (talk) 16:37, 21 October 2022 (UTC)

رسالة توضيح

كما سبق اطلعنا على تعليمات رفع الصور في كومنز ،وكما قلت سابقا توجد أخطأ فنية في رفع الصور عندنا ، ،وقمنا بمعالجة الوضع ،،وسنقوم برفع الصور مباشره من الكاميرا وبدون تعديل عليها ،،بسبب كثرة الصور لدينا وبعد تحويل المقالات في ويكبيديا رجعنا إلى الصور قبل سنوات لرفعها ،وربما حصل التباس بين صور حيث قمت بتغيير الجهاز القديم ونقله إلى الجهاز الجديد ،،وهذا حصل مع الصور القديمة ،،، الان بعد الاطلاع على التعليمات في كومنز سنلتزم برفها حسب الأصول مباشره من الكاميرا،، ملاحظة رفعنا صور أخيرا امس ارجو الاطلاع عليها وابلغنا أنها جيدة أم لا،، نحن ابناء اليوم ولا يهمنا المنع ام لا فكثير من الناس ليس لهم حساب كومنز ونحن مثلهم،، لكن يهمنا توضيح الحقيقة واكتشفنا بعض ألاخطاء الفنية عندنا وقمنا بمعالجتها ،، شكرا لكم وتحياتي M sh شراونة محمد (talk) 10:23, 22 October 2022 (UTC)

السلام عليكم ،تحياتي استاذ طابت أوقاتكم ،،

عندما اقوم برفع الصور في مقالة ويكيبيديا ،،يتم وضع حظر عليها تحذف بعد 7 ايام لعدم وجود إذن،انا شخصيا من صورتها وهي من عملي وتصويري ،،انا المستخدم حاليا وترفع باسمي وسبق أن غيرت اسم المستخدم في ويكبيديا منذ ثلاث سنوات وكان إسم المستخدم بلدة السيميا وبعد الاعتراض عليه غير الى اسم شراونة محمد من قبل الدكتور طاهر، وقام المستخدم أمين بتحويل المقالة من صفحة السيميا إلى السيمياء الخليل وكان بها صور للقرية ومسجد وبير ماء تاريخي ،وحذفت ورفعتها وحذفت بحجة لا يوجد إذن ،وهل المقصود بالاذن المستخدم القديم بلدة السيميا والذي حول إلى المستخدم شراونة محمد انا ،او الصفحة على الفيس او اي حساب اخر لي انا ،انا من صورت الصور ونشرتها في ويكبيديا منذ أكثر من ثلاثة سنوات ،،، في عام 2019 رفعنا صور في المقالات في ويكبيديا قبل رفعها على كومنز وحذفت وهذا خطأ مني لا نعرف ذلك ،وبعدها اصبحت ارفع على كومنز وبعدها في ويكبيديا ،وحذفت ليس بسبب حقوق النشر ،، بعض الصور في بداية المساهمة في كومنز كتبت عليها اسم القرية للتوضيح ، وابلغني ويكيبيديا أنها لا تقبل الصورة المكتوبة عليها ،عدت ورفعت الاصل الغير مكتوب وقبلت في المقالات لمدة سنوات ،ولا يوجد خرق حقوق النشر ،انا من قام بالعمل بدون قصد ،، ارسلت موقع الويب مع رسالة لكم أنني صاحب العمل ،، بعض الصور مثل مواقع صحية وتاريخية صورتها ورفعتها اليكم لارفاقها في المقالات ويكيبيديا مثل الاف الصور في كمومنز وويكيبيديا ،، لا يوجد خرق حقوق النشر لدي ، بل أشياء وأخطاء فنية في رفع الصور لا نعرفها او لا نقوم بتعبئة جميع الحقول حسب الأصول لانكم لا تساعدون ولا توضحون الأسباب ،،وهل ممنوع ان ترفع صور ،مثلا اريد تصوير صور جديده عامة مثل مشهد لقرية او مسجد ،هذا ممنوع انظروا الى ملايين الصور في كمومنز وويكيبيديا ،، لماذا المستخدم امين لا يرى الا مقالات الخاصة بي ويتحدث عن خرق حقوق النشر ولا يشاهد المقالات والصور في المقالات ،هذا عشان تم نقاشه ،، ابلغونا عن الطريقة السليمة لرفع الصور حتى نعرف ،، تريدون أكثر من ذلك وان نرسل لكم ارقام هواتف والمنازل ونحلف الايمان ونجمع التواقيع من الناس لنثبت اننا قمنا بالعمل ،، شكرا لكم على هذا التعاون الغير موجود M sh شراونة محمد (talk) 15:20, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
