The polycarbonate partitions that make up the dining area reflect the view of the ocean in front of the site, while at the same time refracting the light. Pendants and bracket lights are placed on top of the partitions to reflect the light. The partitions reflect the incoming sunlight and change their expression over time. The designer aimed to create an immersive space that sublimates the elements of Shirahama by light, while incorporating a view seamlessly connected to the outside.

Our History Roito was founded in 2013 by Ryohei Kanda and is a Tokyo-based interior design firm with projects sprinkled over the world. Ryohei earned his degree in interior design from ICS college in Tokyo, and he began his career at “Hashimoto Yukio Design Studio” for 10 years. He was named 6 international awards designed for “RICCA” in 2017 and winning 11 international awards for other 2 design projects in 2020. Design Philosophy The design has its unique character and vision of its own. If you strategically follow the design logic of how to highlight those originalities the answers naturally come to you.
