Design and Art from My Point of View
I am convinced that as designers, our primary task is to shape the future and change the way we perceive objects that are present in our lives. To me, design is the process of putting together ideas that improve the quality of life of people. It is not just the look and feel but also the form and feel of the product and the experience it elicits. Design is the ability to predict requirements and find solutions, to turn concepts into objects that make life easier.
While, art is the reflection of human feeling and imagination. It goes beyond the barriers and conveys messages that may be hard to put into words. Art makes us think about what we have gone through and forces us to question what we see.
In my point of view, art and design are two related but separate fields. Both involve creativity and planning but are used for different purposes in the society. Design and art Together, they make our lives fuller by provoking and initiating change.
As a designer, I have always been interested in the connection between these two areas. My goal is to develop solutions that serve functional requirements and also elicit an emotional response from the end user. In this way, I would like to contribute to a future in which design is not only functional but also relational, where each object has a narrative and adds to our knowledge of the world.
