About Esma Nur Aydın : Esma Nur Aydın is an industrial designer based in Istanbul with an academic background in both physics and industrial design. Her multidisciplinary education supports a process-oriented approach to product development. She has experience working across various domains including lighting, transportation, and user-centered research. Her design practice integrates analytical thinking with creative problem-solving to develop practical and meaningful solutions. Her work is grounded in exploring how design intersects with everyday experiences and human behavior.
STATEMENT OF ART:Design is a dialogue between function and emotion. I believe that design should not only solve a problem but also spark a connection — a story, a memory, or a new experience. I often explore fluid, nature-inspired forms and combine them with minimalistic principles to reflect both harmony and contrast. My background in physics and industrial design helps me analyze structures deeply while adding poetic touches to usability. For me, art and design are interwoven ways of communication beyond language — silent but powerful.
