| About Mina Maazi : Mina Maazi is a UX/UI and product designer with a background in Design Management and a passion for human-centered innovation. With over six years of experience in fintech, digital transformation, and adaptive learning solutions, she specializes in designing intuitive and impactful digital experiences. Mina has contributed to projects that enhance accessibility, streamline financial processes, and improve digital adoption in organizations. Her work has been recognized with awards, including the Best Idea Award at the People-Led Digitalisation event, organized by Birmingham City University and the University of Bath. She is also an active mentor, sharing her expertise through platforms like ADPList. Design, for me, is the perfect intersection between creativity and functionality, where aesthetics and problem-solving come together to create meaningful experiences. It is not just about making things look beautiful; rather, it is about understanding human needs and crafting solutions that improve lives. Every design decision should be rooted in empathy, ensuring that the end-user's experience is intuitive, seamless, and impactful. Art, on the other hand, is an expression of emotions, ideas, and culture. It is boundless, unrestricted by constraints, and allows individuals to interpret and connect with it in their unique way. While design often serves a practical function, art exists for its own sake—evoking emotions, provoking thought, and inspiring creativity. I believe that great design blends elements of both—infusing functionality with artistic expression. Design should be user-centered, adaptable, and accessible. A well-designed product, service, or experience does not require explanations; it naturally guides users toward the intended outcome. My design philosophy revolves around human-centered innovation, where technology is leveraged not just for efficiency but also to enhance human interactions and experiences. I see technology as a tool that, when used thoughtfully, can create more inclusive and engaging digital spaces. As a UX/UI and product designer, I strive to create solutions that bridge the gap between users and digital interfaces, making technology more intuitive and accessible. I am particularly passionate about adaptive learning, fintech solutions, and digital transformation, as these areas have the power to reshape industries and empower users with knowledge and tools tailored to their needs. A quote that deeply resonates with my approach to design is: "Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works." – Steve Jobs To me, this emphasizes the idea that design should be functional, effortless, and purpose-driven, ensuring that users can navigate digital spaces seamlessly while enjoying aesthetically pleasing experiences. In every project I take on, I seek to challenge conventions, embrace creativity, and push the boundaries of what is possible while maintaining a deep respect for usability and accessibility. My goal is to design for impact, leaving a positive mark on the world through thoughtful, people-first digital experiences.
