Ingredients

  1. 300 g napa cabbage
  2. 150 g sweet pea
  3. 100 g young corn
  4. 200 g shiitake mushroom
  5. 100 g tofu puff
  6. 3 tablespoons mirin
  7. 2 tablespoons light soya sauce
  8. 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  9. 1 teaspoon white pepper powder
  10. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  11. 500 ml hot water
  12. 5 pieces garlic

    Wash the leaves with clean water.

    Separate the white and green portion as shown below. Slice the white part at a 45 degrees angle across the fiber.

    Leave them aside separately.

    Chop the garlic finely.

    Slice the mushrooms.

  6. 6

    Cut the young corn diagonally. Trim the ending of the sweet peas.

    Slice the tofu puff thinly.

    Heat up cooking oil in a frying pan with medium heat. Add garlic.

    Add the white part of the cabbage.

    Add both sweet peas and young corn.

    Add the green part of the cabbage.

    Add the mushrooms.

    Add the tofu puff.

    Add 500ml hot water. Then add light soya sauce, mirin, white pepper powder, oyster sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Add more water if you prefer more gravy. Bring it to boil.

    Ready to serve.

Love to cook and experiment with new cooking methods in addition to traditional stir fry recipes. Living in Singapore, a fantastic place to eat and experience (almost) every kind of cuisine in the world.
