Black Mamba is a steel inverted roller coaster located in Phantasialand in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It was manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard and opened in 2006. Like many modern Bolliger & Mabillard coasters, the track is filled with sand to absorb rattling and to reduce noise.[citation needed]
History
On 23 May 2006, Black Mamba opened exclusively to ticket holders following an auction of 132 tickets to raise money for charity. It opened to the general public on the following day.[1]
