Late to this Dances / Curses party, but holy hell what a party. This album is phenomenal and compositionally, one the best albums I’ve heard in years. It’s a difficult thing to pull off the scope of something like this clearly drawing from so many influences, yet sitting entirely on their own and never losing steam. This is Hey Colossus, and motherfucker it’s good. hikerdude2009
The Bristol duo's debut smashes together acid beats, punishing hardcore, and harsh now into songs that are deliberately overwhelming and intense. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 28, 2022
Moody, dissonant electronic pop-rock that channels dance music's patterns and rhythmic directness into shadowy territory. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 11, 2018
Groovy doomy psych. Black-hole heavy while still being trippy as hell. Reminds me of Gnod, Pigs x 7, Boris, Earthless... among my favorite modern bands, so Bloody Head is in good company. Levrikon
