Do the vulture demonesses and saurians have any lore? They pop up in your art quite a lot and it's delightful to see all the different ones
dynasoar5 answered:
nothing permanent.
vulture demonesses are an archetype/species that are originally from the mind of R Crumb. They slowly started appearing in my work over the years and i’ve continually changed how i represent them and draw them. to me they embody power, animalistic urges, beings from a time when gods/monsters walked the earth, etc. something from myth.
saurians are slowly becoming a vehicle to explore a world. they have become more representative of the specific clades they are based on. i don’t plan things out or keep things consistent. they are vignettes of a world, or worlds.
also, besides saurians, there are “saurians”, which is how i refer to my original species i guess. they are a dinosaur-esque anthropomorph that i started drawing in the 2000s. Sorbei and Goldie are examples. They don’t have any real world connections to particular dinosaur species. they are more cartoony i guess.
