Hey — most people know me as Sky. I self-host most of the things I use and spend a lot of time messing with my network. I'm a fan of janky solutions: it's not stupid if it works, and "not officially supported" is ideology from the lizard people to prevent you from having fun!!! ;).

This lab runs on Debian and FreeBSD, and I'll happily talk about it all day in #homelabbing:codestorm.net. I think centralising the internet was a mistake and I'd rather own my corner of it. When I'm not homelabbing I'm out mountainbiking or soldering something together.
