Downtrend

The cryptocurrencies are still grappling with the bear markets. The altcoins have all exhausted selling pressure but the bulls lack buying power to come out of the downtrend. The coins are in a downward correction.

After the recent rebound, XRP now trades below the $0.195 resistance but above the $0.185 support. Buyers are finding penetration difficulty at the minor resistance of $0.195.

Regrettably, Bitcoin Cash fails to surge above the $280 resistance as price plummets below $240 low. After the initial resistance at $280, BCH finds support at the low of $260.

Ripple is still trapped below $0.20500 resistance after the last rebound. The bulls are unrelenting as the price continues to retest the $0.20500 resistance. In the first retest, the bulls were repelled as the price fell to $0.19 low.

The pair is in a tight range between $120 and $140. Ether is facing selling pressure above $140 resistance.

Interestingly, the bulls have successfully pushed LTC above the $40 resistance. Previously, Litecoin was in a tight consolidation as the market fluctuated between $36 and $40.

Ethereum is nearing the proximity of its breakout point as it trades below the $140 overhead resistance. Recently, Ether has been trading in a tight range between $120 and $140. On March 20, the bulls succeeded in breaking the overhead resistance but faced stiff resistance at $140.

Bitcoin ranges above $6,300 as bulls and bears pause below the breakout level of $6,400. Before now the bulls were earlier resisted while attempting to break $7,000 resistance.

The pair has been trading consistently at $0.17 for the past four days. Unfortunately, buyers have failed to sustain prices above $0.17. Certainly, the market would have risen to a high of $0.20, if buyers pushed the price above $0.17.
