With the digital currency gaining popularity, many frauds have been conducted in this field. Ukraine has recently witnessed the big arrest of four young men involved in a cryptocurrency scam. They were accused of running six fake virtual coin exchanges.

A cybercrime gang leader, involved in stealing upward of $1.2 bln, has been arrested in Alicante, Spain. The gang ,consisting of Russian and Ukrainian nationals, robbed around 100 financial institutions worldwide and covered its tracks with the help of crypto coins.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) has placed two workers of the Bureau of Meteorology under investigation for illegal usage of the institution’s super-powerful equipment for mining different cryptocurrencies. There have been no charges yet but the investigation is ongoing.
