Bitcoin, the first and the most commonly known cryptocurrency in the world is not a perfect currency for every use. It now faces stiff competition from alternative currencies (altcoins) such as Ether, XRP, Tether, Litecoin, among others in terms of market capitalization as well as the amount of data stored on its blockchain.

Ripple has failed to sustain its uptrend after the previous decline on August 2. In that case, XRP fell to $0.27. Thereafter, buyers responded to resuscitate XRP by pushing the price upward.

Despite the recent downtrend of Ripple, the crypto has almost recovered from the sudden downturn. On May 2, XRP had earlier plunged from the high of $0.325 to $0.24 low.

Recently, the Ripple bulls rebounded and rallied to $0.325 high but could not continue the uptrend. XRP encountered a sharp decline at the recent high and price dropped to $0.241 low.

Today, Ripple has hit above the $0.26 price level at the time of writing. Earlier on, buyers have been pushing XRP from the previous overpriced level of $0.235. The coin bounced above $0.23 to break the $0.235 resistance.

Despite Bitcoin offering unprecedented decentralization and security, its network has one significant flow, namely, the transaction speed. A single transaction processing can take up to 10 minutes. But why is this happening?

Today, Ripple has successfully breached the overhead resistance of $0.235 and rallied above $0.24 high.

In its recent uptrend, Ripple breached the resistance at $0.21 as the market reached a high of $0.23.

Ripple in its uptrend has breached the resistance at $0.20 and $0.205 but has failed to break the resistance at $0.21. Buyers have retested the resistance at $0.21 twice without breaking it.
