Rohan Press "Yeah, I'm a loser / always been..." Being a loser, losin', simply means: choosing community over success, love over stability—knowing that each of our lives are colored by loss, but that's what makes 'em beautiful and worth living. Long live the post-country scene!
Mike Delejewski

Mike Delejewski When listening to the song Cadillac, I think Andy Shauf singing lead vocals for Son Volt (Sorry Jay, it's the only comparison that comes to mind) with some elegant slide guitar riffs. I anxiously wait to hear the whole of Losin'. Colin has some serious musical chops. Favorite track: Cadillac.
Brett Carlson

Brett Carlson Don't sleep on this one. It's one of the best releases of '25. Colin's writing is beautiful and his band is essentially The Wind. A great accomplishment. Favorite track: Lost Again.
newcommute

newcommute These grief-slicked, ash-dusted songs feel both lovingly handmade and eerily fated, each one drifting in on the Appalachian air with the smell of gas station roses, pedal steel, and the kind of plainspoken poetry that hits deep. Favorite track: Porchlight.

Birdhouse 03:33
Drunk at The Birdhouse But you weren’t there to hear me out I collected running water till I finally sobered up And I know I should have left I coulda done it on my own If I stay here I will die in silence here Nose broke when you drove into the guard rail I climbed up the cell tower to try and call for help And I know I should have left I coulda done it on my own If I stay here I will die in silence here If I stay here If I stay here If I stay here I will die in silence here

Porchlight 03:13
I leave the porchlight on Not sure where you’re at, not sure where you’re gone I been on the road Living between the lines Giving you what’s left of me when I find the time You got your shadow and I got mine Least I can do is leave on the light I leave the porchlight, the porchlight on But I know you won’t come home I found a stranger’s boots in the living room I really can’t blame you cos somewhere down in Beaumont I got someone who’s sweet on me too Sweet on me Darlin, you know you’re still my number one tube top angel I hope he makes you feel new I know that I used to So I leave the porchlight, the porchlight on But I know you won’t come home I leave the porchlight, the porchlight on But I know you won’t come home

Cadillac 03:16
Suckin down coffee, Pall Malls, and oxygen If you blow up this time The blame will be all on me Nascar crash on the big screen Shirtless in July heat And I’m helpless Helpless, helpless In the blood-black tinted window Cadillac There goes all my hope for you There goes all my hope for you Turn your lazy eye Put me in the brights And laugh at me through fake teeth From the other side Maybe you were born to run that redlight Baby, you were born to run that redlight In that blood-black tinted window Cadillac There goes all my hope for you There goes all my hope for you In the blood-black tinted window Cadillac It’s a good day at the wreck yard It’s a bad day for my heart

4 Wheeler 03:06
I’m still robotrippin with my Dream Team I wasn’t there when ya called my name Saw you cryin at the charity game Saw you lose your breath in the beer cave So shotgun a beer to prove to me That you can drive faster in the rain and when you sing at church Do you still think of me? I can’t get you I can’t get to you on my four wheeler I can’t get you I can’t get to you on my four wheeler I can’t get you I can’t get to you on my four wheeler

Hasbeen 01:57
I was an engine rusting In the woods in the back A little work and a little gas Had me up n running again A great player in the 80s I lost it at a Wendy’s when the little speaker asked me “Was that you on the TV?” Was that you?

I need a friend I need a friend Alone in my car The world feels so far away From me Last night I dreamt Last night I dreamt I wanted a bookend So I waited On a call that never came And I'll be honest I went off the deep end I flew off the deep end I snuck in the basement And hung there like a scent Just for a second Stood there and held my breath Wonder why I'd make this Nightmare of such proportion Even worse By coming here Maybe I needed Maybe I just needed To be the one Who leaves first Who leaves first Who leaves first

Lost Again 05:13
I don’t need another Christmas morning I don’t need another birthday picture cake I just need you here for a second One last roman candle skippin cross the lake I dove into the quarry But the water wasn’t deep enough for me Now I’m callin the number on the burner you gave me Yea, you’re always there for me So excuse me for lookin like I lost my best friend Somewhere at the racetrack I disappeared on him Lost Again Now I’m spinnin out in the neighbor’s yard Just tearin up in your muscle car No one’s watching for my headlights now No one’s there to bail me So excuse me for lookin like I lost my best friend Somewhere at the racetrack I disappeared on him And no Ford Mustang will drag you back to me Who, yeah, who will dance at my next wedding? Lost Again

Little Devil 03:24
I ain’t gonna waste your time, you ain’t gonna waste mine Got a little beat up on in the drive thru line You’re my little country angel You’re my darlin little devil I ain’t gonna waste your time, you ain’t gonna waste mine Got a little tangled in the landline You’re my little country angel You’re my darlin little devil I ain’t gonna waste your time, you ain’t gonna waste mine

Thunder Road 03:43
Singing Thunder Road karaoke to a disco ball that won’t spin So it’s just me and Mary’s dress in the wind In a cul de sac with a potato gun Decapitating dead end signs So there is no end Til there is no end there is no no no end Pedal to the metal I got you on my mind And you can put your shoes under my bed Anytime I’m bad to be your one and only Living junior Lay right next your snow angel forever Pedal to the metal I got you on my mind And you can put your shoes under my bed Anytime Anytime, anytime, anytime, anytime Singing Thunder Road karaoke to a disco ball that won’t spin So it’s just me and Mary’s dress in the wind
