Becky founded Keep Smart Books in 2013 as a solo venture and has grown it into a trusted financial firm serving Northern Colorado businesses and nonprofits. Today, her company supports a loyal client base with a team of more than 10 professionals dedicated to helping small and mid-sized businesses build a strong financial foundation.
For Becky, success is measured by impact. Under her leadership, Keep Smart Books donates one percent of annual revenue and provides discounted or pro bono services to local nonprofits. Becky launched Keep Smart Books Academy to offer vocational training for aspiring bookkeepers and small business owners. The Academy boasts a 100 percent job placement rate for students completing Bookkeeping 110 and 210, demonstrating Becky’s commitment to creating pathways to opportunity.
Over the past year, Becky expanded her role as a financial educator by speaking at Founded in FoCo, the Unstoppable Women’s Conference and Talent Tuesday with the Fort Collins Chamber. She was named a Dame of Influence by the Dames of Northern Colorado and launched Perk Up & Profit, a free training series focused on practical topics like budgeting, payroll and profit planning.
Becky’s influence extends deep into the community through board service with Be the Gift and hands-on volunteering with Loveland Habitat for Humanity. She mentors her team and others with a focus on personal growth, transparency and generosity. Becky’s work shows that business can lift communities, empower people and inspire change when led with purpose and heart.
