Erin Conway on Instagram: "Beams!! Well faux beams… kinda. We simply added wood planks to the ceiling to create the look of beams that are inset into the plaster. We live in a 1.5 story house and for some reason that equates to low hallway ceilings. We have done a TON of work to open up this area (swipe to see the view when we toured home). These “beams” were the missing component for me to help the illusion of height and to help add warmth. Swipe to third picture to see the space pre-beam."
