I've always been intimidated to make a big apple pie for Thanksgiving, so these apple pocket pies are PERFECT for me! I love how easy the recipe is to follow! This recipe uses premade pie crust (a shortcut that I love), but the hand pies still taste homemade. They're baked with a layer of cinnamon sugar on top, then after baked the pies are topped with a cinnamon glaze. I love how the apple filling tastes! My whole family ate these up during our Thanksgiving dinner!
