Remember the post I did ages ago about wanting to paint something plum? Well, I finally took the plum plunge, and it wasn’t so scary after all! :) I picked up this little dresser with a gloppy black paint job, but I could see that it was a diamond in the rough. Purple is back and better than ever. Especially when using it on furniture. This mid century dresser was in rough shape when we found it. But with lots of wood filler (and I mean lots), some TLC, and a fresh coat of paint she's been revived and refreshed. You can use items from everywhere. The base was actually salvaged from an old pair of nightstands. We added fresh brass hardware to tie in with the base and now she's good as new.
