The filipino folk dance called "tinikling," is a traditional filipino dance. It involves both men and women with sets of bamboo sticks sometimes crossed over each other. The bamboo sticks are hit together and on a ground usually in a rhythmic tune while the dancers step back and forth in between the spaces . Tinikling involves more props, feet movement and singing while Islamic dancing has many hand movements and very up-beat music.

“It’s More Fun in the Philippines” is the slogan of a tourism campaign launched by the Filipino government in January 2012. Mainly due to its similarity to the 1951 Swiss tourism slogan “It’s More Fun in Switzerland,” the phrase has since become a subject of captioned parodies and spawned hundreds of tongue-in-cheek image macros based on the phrasal template “X, More fun in the Philippines.”
