Here’s a quick overview to help you get started with Cloudback. Don’t worry—our detailed guide will walk you through each step, making the process easy and straightforward:
1. Purchasing a Plan: Various plans are available, including Free Plan, Per 10 Repositories, Per 100 Repositories, and Per 1000 Repositories. You can pay via direct bank transfer, Paddle, or GitHub Marketplace. With Cloudback, convenience is a priority. We provide flexible options to suit your needs, whether you prefer purchasing separate plans for each account or applying the same plan across multiple accounts.
2. Installing Cloudback: Install Cloudback via the GitHub Marketplace, where it will be automatically activated for your primary account upon purchase. Do you wish to cover multiple accounts under one purchased plan? If yes, then you first need to install it through the Cloudback Dashboard on your accounts. Then, contact support to enable the plan on all accounts.
3. Configuring Cloudback: Configuration includes setting up storage options—either Cloudback Managed Storage or Customer Managed Storage with provider-specific settings. You can also define backup schedules using cron expressions and configure retention policies for backups, such as setting a retention period of the last 30 days.
