David Chalmin

David Chalmin carries on multiple careers as a producer, composer, electrical guitarist, and engineer, often fulfilling several of those roles on the same recording. He is known for his production work with the piano duo of Katia & Marielle Labèque but crosses genre lines, working with progressive rock musicians as well as classical players, and even seeing his music appear in a short film by Madonna. Chalmin's work as a composer has been heard at major venues in continental Europe, Britain, and the U.S. He has sometimes been credited on the cover of the Labèque sisters' albums, including on the 2025 release Electric Fields.
