What can I save?

How does video transcription work?
Paste a video or audio link, and Clipii automatically fetches and transcribes the content using built-in speech-to-text. The transcript is searchable and timestamped.
Where is my data stored?
Everything is stored as plain local files on your device. You can put the library folder in a cloud drive like OneDrive or iCloud for backup, but Clipii never uploads your data to any server.
Can AI tools read my Clipii library?
Yes. Your library is structured Markdown files in a local folder. AI agents like Claude Code, Codex, or ChatGPT can read them directly as context.
Which platforms does Clipii run on?
The desktop app supports macOS and Windows. A browser extension is available for Chrome-based browsers.
