Happy Birthday Brother

Good morning all.

Well the wanderer returned yesterday...he'd burned himself out and has come home for a rest!! He'd made it down to Dover but hadn't taken any time out to relax and since he was mostly wild camping he was up and about early every day moving on. Guess who'll be doing the washing today!!

I finally managed to finish a card yesterday which I'd started at the weekend!

This was a commissioned card for my brother's ex wife to give her brother. Image is from Bugaboo, coloured with promarkers. Papers are freebies from Jak Heath. Border punch from Martha Stewart. Brother die from Spellbinders. Happy birthday sentiment and banner die from Clearly Besotted. I've used a Swiss Dots EF on the sentiment (which was computer generated) to make it look like a golf ball. Finished with some charms from Splodgeaway and binders twine.
Inside has been decorated with a similar layout.

Little Red Wagon - all tied up
Fan-Tastic Tuesday - anything goes, make it square

Gone Golfing

Good morning all.

Had a very quiet day at home yesterday....lie in, pampering session, some colouring and managed to make a card for hubby as it's our anniversary later in the week. You'll have to wait a day or two to see it though!

I'm sharing a birthday card for a male today. I've a couple of male birthdays next month so had a day last week getting them made and out of the way! I've had this stamp for ages and this is the first time it's been inked!

Image from LOTV, stamped in Memento ink and coloured with promarkers. Backing papers were a freebie from Jak Heath. Die from Spellbinders. Sentiment, twine, charm and candy from my stash.

Crafting for all Seasons #46 Dies and Punches

Good afternoon all. I had a bit of a lazy day yesterday after my body decided I'd been overdoing things and shut down on me - when this happens I just have to sleep it off. Apparently I missed a gorgeous morning whilst having my lie in! Got a bit of hoovering done and made The Hairy Dieters Spanish Chicken for tea (which was yummy) and did some digi scrapping....then it was time for bed again!

Today it's time for a new challenge at CFAS and this time the theme is "Dies and Punches". We're  looking forward to seeing all your makes. We're being sponsored by Kenny K and the DT were given images to use although I've used one I won recently. The card is for one of my nephew's who has a birthday next week and as always I had to go look him up on the family tree to make sure I got the number right!! (Anyone else have to do this or is it just me!!).

My image is called "Soccer" and I've coloured with promarkers and diecut with one of my new wonky rectangles from Spellbinders. Green backing paper is from Wild Rose Studio, plaid paper is from Jak Heath. Football is leftover from a decoupage sheet. Sentiment, peel off and gems are from my stash.

Do pop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the girls inspiration, you won't be disappointed.

Crafting for all Seasons #12 Halloween

Loved seeing all your fall flowers and pumpkins last time but a new challenge starts today at CFAS and we'd like to see your Halloween projects or for those who don't do Halloween use Halloween colours. We're being sponsored by Pink Cat Studio and Just Some Lines. I've used an image I created in the new Digi Stamp Designer at Pink Cat Studio to make a hanging decoration.

The image has been coloured with promarkers and cut out and mounted 3d to the decoration. The backing paper is a freebie from Jak Heath and has been cut with a nestie circle and mounted onto scalloped nestie mats. Decoration is finished with a black cat from Kameo Cards, black ribbon for hanging, a green bow, button, skull and crossbones from Beccy's Place, sentiment from The Crafty Nomad, a small bow and pearls all coloured with promarkers.

Halloween

I found this used black gift bag tucked away so decided to recycle it, obviously the colour made it ideal for halloween.

Image is from Delicious Doodles and it's been digitally layered onto a backing paper from Jak Heath, I've coloured it with promarkers and matted it onto a square and a scalloped nestie. Backing papers, pumpkins, spooky and tag are from Crafter's Companion - all printed onto waste paper. Cat silhouette is from Kameo Cards (very old stash) and borders are all punches from Martha Stewart. Bag is finished with buttons, baker's twine, ribbon and a glittery spider.
