Baby Shower Photobooth

This weekend I had a baby shower photobooth.  Of course I can't just use a plain ole' backdrop so I decided to hang the baby's gifts.  Now that's screams little baby boy!!

The new mommy and daddy had to start us off.  They took Dorothy and Gary with them for comfort.  They all did very well and the line started to form.

Grandma and Grandpa also got in on the action.

I'm not sure I would leave the new baby with his uncles just yet, and daddy is prepared for those stinky diapers.

The other grandparents got in on some action with Big Brother Preston.

My brother Brian brought along his quite new girlfriend....... from this look I'm not sure she thinks too much of our humor.  Sorry Brian, I'm sure she loved it even though you {forgot} didn't mention there would be photos at the party.  :)

Sara is so little and her belly is tiny, she only has a month and a half left.  Sara you are way cute and I can't wait to meet your son.  Oh, Marcus you are cute too.

All these fun photos plus about 300 more will go into the baby scrapbook for tons of laughter in the years to come.  This baby will know everyone that was at his shower and the good time we had in capturing this special day.

More Photobooth Peeks

If you're getting married or a fun birthday or graduation party having a photobooth to capture all your guests in a zany fun way is what you need.  Who wouldn't want a photo like this to smile at every time you see it?

In 2004 my sister DiAnn had a 40th birthday party that all the guests dressed up like old people (so she wouldn't feel out of place about her age) (she was not impressed by the way, but it was so fun).  During the night Gayle, Starla and I had our picture taken with our fur coats, fake rotten teeth, cat eye glasses, skirt tucked into my nylons...... you get the picture, we were way cute.... I framed it in a 5x7.  It's one of my favorite photos it still sits on my dresser to start my day with a grin.  Had that photo been taken with us standing straight, regular clothes, "say cheese" smiles..... it would probably have just stayed in the scrapbook to be seen once every 5 years or so.   So if you looking for some fun way to jazz up your parties contact me for more photobooth photraphy information.  connie.hemmer@gmail.com

Now let's take a peak at more Destination Medford

You start by looking your best - apply lipstick if needed ;)

If you heard laughter on Friday night I'm sure it was coming from the Veranda.

Grab all your girlfriends for a weekend of fun

You may have to practice where to place your mustache and lips while your family gives you crazy looks....

You'll learn some things that could shock you

I give you time to feel the music....

and more "working the camera"

Thank you all again and last but not least
XOXOXOXOX

Sneak Peak of Photobooth

Like I promised here are a few photos from Friday night.  We had so many laughs and so much fun I want to do it all over again tomorrow.  Thank you all for coming out and spending time being silly with me.

The food was fantastic too..... right girls?

They were such good sports about this photo..... we cleaned them all up after they were done so no-one would see them like this {wink, wink}

Thank you Shawna and Lynn for helping out tonight and helping everyone be so relaxed in front of the camera.  Your accessory selection for everyone was fantastic.

I took over 1,000 photos and they will be up on the link soon.  I'll send you all an e-mail as soon as it's done.  I have more sneak peaks for tomorrow night, they are so fun.  I laughed a gazillion times while editing today I hope they bring back the same laughter for you.

Destination Medford = Womens Weekend Photobooth

Tonight is the Destination Medford Women's Weekend and I will be at the Veranda for registration waiting for all these fun gals to come try out my photobooth.  I can't very well put other people in front of the camera doing fun things unless I try it out myself so here I am thinking...... and of course I got my list of things I need to do in my hand which does not including playing in front of the camera :)

I am so excited about this event, it's going to be so much fun for me and everyone in front of the camera.  I cannot find the words to explain how I am feeling so I wrote it down to show you.

So those were taken on Thursday night and here is John and I setting things up before the event.  Do I still look excited?

I have a busy weekend so I'll try to get some sneak peaks from the event up on Sunday, it's going to be so much fun.

Photobooth Type Fun

Every Christmas I take my camera with me to Gayle and Bill's house and it usually sits in my camera bag all day until I try to get at least one photo of everyone together. This year we had a bit different schedule than usual so the family would be popping in and out all day long so I decided to do a photobooth type thing that hopefully my family wouldn't think I was too crazy and participate. I decided to practice on Thanksgiving with the kids and let me tell you it was so much fun. Here are a few from Thanksgiving practice, Elly had lots of fun!!

Mallory didn't like the feathers.....

Elly loves her Grandpa

So I thought the background was a bit busy so I opted for a white table cloth that I refused to iron on Christmas morning..... looking at them now I should have stuck with the red or ironed, oh well it's the people that count right?

Here is the host and hostess of our Christmas dinner....

Our Christmas Dinner has been nick-named the Grinchmas for years and he always manages to make a visit.

Nice face Dan....  This cracks me up, if you know my brother Dan he's pretty reserved.

Gayle and Lynn representing Winter and Summer...

Okay so they did YMCA..... not so well though..... Adam knows a lot about the police lately so he just throws his arms up to surrender, Scott makes a not so good cowboy with his finger guns, Lynn is trying to show her muscles and knocks off Elaine's headdress as the Indian.....

Porter was a Rock Star in front of the camera as long as he could wear the hat, glasses, nose and feathers....

Garrett and his Mommy just being cute....

Don't eat dessert out of the center at any event that my family is at or you will get harassed.  We were taught to eat the dessert in rows and if you didn't want an edge piece you waited until a middle piece as open..... if you ate the cake out of the middle you probably belonged to Hayseeds family, they were spoiled and got to do that :)   Wally really hates it when this happens so after a full CSI investigation he blamed Rusty and we took the photos for proof.

I love that Kiana and Beau are posing so cute while Monica and Wyatt do their own thing and forget there is even a camera with a crazy lady taking their pictures.

Here's Randy with his beautiful family.... don't they all look alike?

Okay so if you're not bored to tears with these silly photos you can check out about 400 more that a put on a slide show.  The quality isn't as good as I like but with that many photos I would still be downloading the video 3 days later....   Here it is, now remember I warned you it was a lot of photos of people acting like silly fools.  Gotta love my family.
