Crochet Hot Water Bottle Cover 'Happy Scrappy' Granny Square
Made just like my 'Happy Scrappy' blankets using all my half balls and ‘ends’ of yarn from other projects minimising waste. Each granny square is different meaning that every cover will be different too, so your hot bottle cover will be unique to you! These hot water bottle covers have been made using the last of a range of ‘marl’ pattern yarn which is an acrylic/wool mix. Made to fit the 1.8/2 litre standard large sized bottles (hot water bottle is not included) The covers can be given a gentle machine wash on a cool setting and I recommend air/line drying. I use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for a speedy, tracked and insured delivery.

A hand knitted tweed hot water bottle cover in my favourite chocolate wrapper colours! The body of the hottie is knitted in a tweed stitch, using three colours: Deep purple, Lavender, Spring green. This stitch gives a wonderful texture. The neck and bottom of the cover are knitted in a rib stitch using the deep purple coloured yarn, which ensures a good snug fit but with plenty of ease when filling the bottle is required. I have crocheted a flower for the front using all three colours, with green in the centre, a circle of lavender, and finished with an outer ring of deep purple.
