- 3lbs onions finely sliced 
- 3tbsp butter 
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup dry white wine 
- 2 bay leaves 
- thyme 
- salt and pepper 
- Trader Joe’s umami seasoning 
- 1 baguette 🥖 
- Swiss cheese 
- Parmesan cheese 
- garlic butter 
(Optional: splash of Worcestershire)

1) cook down the onions until caramel color (could take 3 hours so grab a chair)
2) splash beef broth while caramelizing to prevent sticking 
3) once caramelized add seasoning and cover with beef broth. 
4) simmer for 10 minutes 
5) prepare ramekins with your soup and top with baguette slice and cheese 🧀 
6) lastly, broil until golden
