But my Pentax 6x7 is NOT a beginner friendly camera. Medium format is: more difficult to shoot properly, harder to focus, and more expensive per photo! 35mm is 1. Easier to focus 2. More photos per roll of film 3. Less expensive per shot 4. Easier to meter 5.
