Sharing these exact methods when you comment COLOR below. 💛 The color shift from pink to green is partially due to the extremely pH sensitivity of anthocyanins. The pretreated fabric changes the pH of the dye - causing the resulting color to be green. It’s a nuanced process that involves a lot of thought and patience. It takes practice to figure out how to get fantastic prints. 👉🏼 That’s why I’m sharing some of my favorite tips with you today! 🩵 Eco printing is a natural dye method that uses pressure and heat to directly transfer the image of a plant onto a substrate. 🌿 The plants are arranged on barriers & fabric that has been pretreated with mineral salt mordants.
