Which variation/generation of Santos Dumont is your favourite? My love for the Santos started with the sportier ‘de Cartier’ line but it’s now my rotation of Dumonts that actually offers more variety and versatility. Rose gold with a beige lacquer finish. Two tone with a salmon sunburst dial. Yellow gold with a guilloche dial in a classic 27mm case. These 3 Dumonts share the same roots but couldn’t be more different from each other. What’s a watch you want to wear but won’t? For example, this Dumont is not a long weekend watch. Not while my two little ones are still bouncing off the walls and tumbling around (with me), anyway.
