Independence Inn is a business on Gilmore Girls, located in Stars Hollow. The inn was Lorelai first work experience when she arrived there as a teenage mother in 1985. She started as a maid, and worked her way up to executive manager. In addition to Lorelai, the staff included the chef, Sookie, and Michel Gerard, the assistant manager.
