I’m not a painter so mixing colors to make something as beautifully unique as a fall leaf made me a bit nervous, but I am in love with how they turned out. Oh, and I learned a fun fact about leaves! Just as each snowflake is unique and different there are also no two leaves that are identical in the world. So if you use real leaves you will be making one-of-a-kind Clay Leaf Bowls! (I used fake leaves and then added extra veins to make them more unique.) Materials: - 1 balloon -Sponge paint brush - Mod Podge - Fabric leaves - Candle - Fairy lights (battery operated) -Hot glue gun (optional) TIPS- 1. Buy a large pick with multiple leaves or a garland and cut each of the leaves off to use for your leaf bowl. 2. Peel off the plastic veins of your leaves so that they will adhere to the balloon easier. 3. When the glue is dry, the whole jar gets a milky effect and the leaves will look as if caught in the first autumn frost.
