This lilac is watercoloured using q-tips. I watched a video (link on my blog) where the artist groups together q-tips with an elastic band holding them together. She dips them into diluted ink and pounces them on her canvas to create beautiful flowers. I had to give it a try. I used just a few q-tips in each bundle as my card front is very small scale.
