a birthday card with a tree on it

Just a quick post today before my stamping event. :) This is one of the projects we are making today. Simple, but perfect for the dudes in your life! Lovely as a Tree just never gets old for me. I stamped it on watercolor paper and colored it with my Aquapainter. Easy! She might be wearing pink, but she still loves her truck.

a card that says, our thoughts are with you on the table in front of some trees

For today's CAS:Trees I followed Heather's directions for creating a scene. I made 2 masks and sponged on the colors. Next, I stamped the farthest trees in celery, the next row of trees in olive and then removing the mask, I stamped the closest row in black. Thanks for stopping by! ~Roberta

a birthday card with a tree on it

Hi again friends, This lovely tree is from the Loveliest Tree stamp set (#163714). I stamped the tree onto Basic White card (#159228) with Shaded Spruce ink (#147088). This was cut with the co-ordinating die from the Loveliest Tree dies (163715). The DSP for the card front is from the Thoughtful Journey 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#163303) and attached to the Basic White base card. I cut the “frame” from Shaded Spruce card (#147006) with a Wildflower Designs Die (#163333). I attached this…

a card with trees and the words retirement on it

TGIF for those of you who are still working. I can't believe I've been retired for 19 years! My upline just retired and this is the card I made for her a few weeks ago so some of the colors might not be accurate in my description (sorry). I sponged the top part of a Whisper White mat with Seaside Spray and the bottom with Pear Pizzazz. I stamped the trees from Lovely as a Tree (retired) in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I ran the panel through my Big Shot with the Woodland Embossing Folder…

a card with birds on the beach and water in the background that says thinking of you

Happy Monday! Yes, I am back to share a couple of cards I made by using the sponging technique along with stamping over each stamp to add dimension. I found it on Pinterest and loved the card, so thought I would try it myself. You can find the original post here, and the Pinterest link here. Now I took two sheets of paper cut the width of the card, 5 1/2 and put a few dots of adhesive on them, rubbed my fingers over them to soften the adherence of it and then placed one at the top of the…
