Element deletion blockers
When deleting elements in the control panel, users may now be presented with a modal window showing various blockers that need to be acted on before going through with the deletion.

It’s now possible to divide entry sources into multiple index pages, via the Customize Sources modal.
Grouped “Add” button menus for Matrix fields
Matrix fields with multiple entry type groups now show a group of buttons for new entry creation, where each entry type group gets its own menu button.
Bulk actions for Matrix fields
Both Cards and Blocks views also now have Duplicate and Delete field-level actions, when one or more nested entries are selected.
“Inline list” view mode for relation fields
Relational fields now have an “Inline list” view mode.
Content Block fields
Create nested field layouts that can be reused in other element types’ field layouts, with the new “Content Block” field type.
Collapsible source headings
Source headings within element indexes are now collapsible.
Grouped entry types for Matrix fields
It’s now possible for entry types to be presented in groups within Matrix fields.
Expand or collapse all blocks for inline-editable Matrix fields
New “Expand all blocks” and “Collapse all blocks” actions are available for Matrix fields set to the “inline-editable blocks” view mode.
Search for entry types within Matrix fields
When a Matrix field has five or more than five entry types, a search input is shown within entry creation menus.
Inline element search and creation for relational fields
Relational fields with a single element source can now show a search input for quickly selecting elements, without having to go through the element selection modal.
Entries fields with a single section source and without a selection criteria condition also support inline entry creation.
Copy-and-paste elements
Entries and addresses now have “Copy” actions, which opens a special notification that keeps track of the copied elements, as you navigate to a section or field where the elements should be pasted.
Duplicate nested elements
Nested elements within Matrix and Addresses fields now have a “Duplicate” action that creates a clone of the element right alongside it within the field.
Element UI improvements
Element chips, cards, and inline-editable blocks have been redesigned for improved accessibility and to be more consistent with each other.
Read-only fields
Custom fields now have “editability conditions” which determine who can edit them, and who can only view them as read-only inputs.
Button Group fields
A new “Button Group” field type has been added, providing a more compact, user-friendly alternative to radio buttons.
Icons and colors
Checkboxes, Dropdown, Multi-select, and Radio Buttons fields can now specify icons and/or colors for each of their options, which will be shown alongside options’ text labels.
