Marv from Frank Miller’s Sin City is one of my all-time favorite characters. I love seeing artists do their “take” on the big lug. Today we have a Marv and Nancy by Jamie Jones.

Merry Christmas!
Several years ago John Beatty and I teamed up to create “Yes, Timmy, There is a Santa Claus!” John pencilled, inked and colored what I wrote. The story was published in a charity Christmas comic by Tim Gordon.
Every couple of years I like to repost the story. What you see below is the result of our efforts. I hope that you enjoy them.
Tonight is Christmas Eve, so let me get an early start to wish those of you who celebrate, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
The art above was created by Rick Burchett. Rick and Chris Mills (RIP) created one of my all-time favorite comic characters, Digger McCrae aka Gravedigger. If you like great crime comics, you’d love Gravedigger!

While digging through the Zablo Vault, I came across a Dave Wachter sketch of Sly Stallone as Jimmy “Bobo” from Bullet to the Head that I somehow never posted. Well, it’s time to fix that!
You can see more of Dave’s art at his site. – Craig
Ito gets Wolverine. I love everything about this piece. Wolverine is short but thick. He looks feral. His mask is right. Yeah, Ito gets Wolverine.

I love everything about this Batman art by Alex Garner. In addition to being an extremely well done piece of art, it sets up a story, that I’d love to read. Batman, unarmed is about to face off with multiple armed opponents wearing armor. In the background are masked high society types. Yeah, I want to read THAT story!
