Nelly Quist is a Stockholm-based experimental musician and sound artist, working with electronic sound, rhythm, and texture through both musical and artistic frameworks. Her practice combines hardware synthesis, digital
manipulation, and sound art aesthetics, unfolding in layered, visceral
compositions.

Hibernation (her second album release, following her debut
Vivid Echo on Adventurous Records) is a body of experimental electronics where rhythm coils against foggy atmospheres and submerged noise currents. Recorded between 2023–2025, the album threads together deep synthetic textures, live manipulations, and improvisational collaborations. It moves between weight and stillness — from hypnotic pulses to drifting residual tremors — unfolding as a narrative of suspension and release.

Recorded using a hybrid hardware/software setup: analog synthesizers, drum machines, digital processing, and live sound manipulation.
