Cunningham Natural Resources Corp. recently acquired an interest in Cunningham Mining Ltd (“CML”) with the potential to increase its position over time. CML has completed the acquisition of the Placer Claims, known as the “Nugget Trap Placer Mine” in the British Columbia Mineral Title registry. The Nugget Trap Placer Mine covers 573.7 acres and the accompanying permits and authorizations is situated within the Skeena Mining Division of British Columbia, Canada, in the area known as BC’s Golden Triangle.
Kharrouba Copper Company, Inc. (“KCC”), an investment of CNR, is currently producing cobalt. The demand for cobalt continues to increase as decarbonization efforts progress. Cobalt is a key component in a wide variety of applications such as the battery that powers electric vehicles as well as all other rechargeable batteries such as smartphones and laptops. It is predicted that the global market for cobalt will reach around $20 billion annually by the end of this decade.
Mr. Patel is a seasoned business executive and investor with many investment holdings in the Healthcare, Technology, Hospitality, Real Estate and Technology industries in the United States including but not limited to the States of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Florida, Texas and Maine. Mr. Patel received his Bachelor of Science in Physics in 1993 from Gujarat University, Ahemedabab, Gujarat, India and his Masters’ Degree from M.S. University, Baroda, Gujarat, India in 1996.
Since 2016 Mr. Rathod has been an owner and program director for several adult foster and health care businesses in Massachusetts as well as several other entrepreneurial ventures including Surya Energy Services LLC, an oil detection and exploration technology company. From March 2015 to January 2016, he was employed by Ernst & Young as a Senior Legal Consultant. From November 2013 to March 2015, Mr. Rathod was employed as a Manager with Morgan Stanley. From October 2010 to November 2013, he was employed by Ebuymed, Inc. as Business/Operations Director. From September 2008 to November 2009, Mr. Rathod was employed in the Internal Audit Department of Alliance Bernstein as an Administrative Officer, Senior Sox Testing Specialist. From July 2006 to August 2008, he was employed in the Legal, Compliance & Management Controls Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. as a Business Analyst. Mr. Rathod holds a Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) from the Peter J. Tobin School of Business, St. John’s University School of Business and a Juris Doctor with a specialty in corporate and finance law from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Mr. Kristan was the major shareholder of Cunningham Natural Resources Corp., which was acquired by Aruna Holdings LLC and became SOGC, has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He became the President of Ludvik Capital, Inc and its successor Ludvik Holdings, Inc in 2005 that provides advisory services to private and public companies and is focused on making investments to increase revenues and portfolio value. Ludvik provides long-term equity and debt investment capital to fund growth, acquisitions and recapitalizations of small and middle-market companies in a variety of industries primarily located in the U.S. He was formerly the President and CEO of Patriot Advisors, Inc primarily on companies in the energy, technology, telecommunications and internet related industries. Mr. Kristan earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from University of Western Australia.
Mr. Gavenchak is the Managing Director of Further Lane Capital, an investment firm founded in 2017. He is also a Co-founder and principal in FPA Energy Acquisition Corp. (NASDQ: FPAQ). Prior to Further Lane Capital, he was President of The Motor Agency in Atlanta, GA. Earlier, Mr. Gavenchak was Senior Vice President with a WPP/Young & Rubicam subsidiary where his work primarily focused on emerging growth companies and business issues management. At Further Lane, Mr. Gavenchak has participated in financings involving over $500 Million in various business categories. Over the years, Mr. Gavenchak has counseled and has provided senior strategic counsel to major law and “Big Five” accounting firms as well as large established companies such as Genuine Parts Company, FOX News Channel, Six Flags, AGCO, Dollar-Thrifty, Absolut Vodka, U.S. Buildings, Pontiac-Buick-GMC, Jaguar, Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, Rinnai North America, Bosch and Cherokee Casinos. In 1995, Mr. Gavenchak became the third full-time employee and Executive Vice President General Counsel of a medical technology company and managed the company’s initial public offering on NASDAQ. Before that, Gavenchak practiced for eight years as an AV rated attorney in New York where he successfully argued and won a seminal case on appeal on constitutional Law in the highest court in State of New York before leaving law to pursue a career in private equity and venture capital. Gavenchak received his Juris Doctor (cum laude) from New York Law School. Clients while practicing law included The Trump Organization, Trump Hotels, The Daily News, Policemen’s Benevolent Association, New Jersey Trade Waste Association, International Brotherhood of Teamsters and others.
Mr. Cunningham is the manager of Cunningham Energy, LLC, an independent producer of oil and gas which he founded in 2008. He currently directs operations for Cunningham Energy, Marzcorp Oil & Gas Inc., Viper Capital Partners LLC and Raven Ridge Energy LLC. Mr. Cunningham served as operating partner of Black Crow Oil LLC from 2008 to 2010. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Cunningham was a sales trader with Oppenheimer & Co. (formerly CIBC World Markets), initially with the private client division and then in its institutional trading group with middle markets and institutional sales trading teams before becoming head sales trader in 2001. Mr. Cunningham has been a Board member of the West Virginia Oil & Gas Association since 2013. Mr. Cunningham received a Bachelor of Arts degree on Environmental Policy from Rollins College. Mr. Cunningham is qualified to serve on our Board of Directors because of his experience in the oil and gas industry.
Mikey Gavenchak has more than 15 years’ business experience, starting very early when he worked at a full-service advertising agency while studying business and marketing in college for four years. Since that time, he has held senior account positions on the agency side of the marketing business as well as in growing businesses in the energy, automotive, aviation services and logistics businesses. He is proficient in all things digital and social media, account planning and management and business development. Along with his leadership capabilities, he is bilingual and fluent in Spanish. He has experience with a myriad of high-profile accounts and clients including but not limited to DELTA, NAPA Auto Parts, Bosch, Rolls-Royce, Jaguar, Land Rover, Cadillac and The Hearst Corporation to name a few.
Mr. Perez is the Senior Advisor to the Company’s Technologies operations. With 43 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry, he currently serves as Senior Vice President of Surya Energy LLC. He also previously served as Executive Vice President, Signum NA. Other leadership roles he has held include Senior Geophysical Adviser, Chief Geophysicist, Service Delivery Team Lead and Senior Processing Geophysicist. He began his career with NAM (Dutch Shell, Netherlands) as Senior Geophysical Adviser (R & D) North Sea Operations in 1983. Since then, Manuel has served numerous tasks pertinent to seismic/imaging data processing (time and Depth) AVO, AVA, seismic interpretation, geological modeling and petrophysical analysis. Also, development of proprietaries technologies. Familiar with seismic processing and geology modeling of most the basins worldwide. Manuel graduated from Universidad Central de Venezuela with a PhD in Biochemistry and master’s degree in Geophysical Engineering.
