As musician , I , MICADO , needs pictures in my head when I make music. Playing music puts my mind automatically on images, landscapes. As I love walking in and exploring natural heavenly places, my music is mostly inspired by this activity. Anyway , behind each MICADO album , I had a certain specific background story or experience.
With this new album MindScapeS , I focussed on creating landscapes, stories and panoramas created within my imagination. It seems psychologists call this “ mindscapes “ .
The 9 tracks were composed based on mindscapes in my head.
Another aspect impacting this album is that I wanted to experiment and use more with my reals synths and with the typical Berliner Schule sequencing types of music. This album is created using real synthesizers and VST .
