Mirror armour, sometimes referred to as disc armour or as Car ayna was a type of cuirass/chest armor mainly used by the Turkish heavy cavalry. Ottoman dynasty period Turkish mirror armor is commonly referred to as "Krug". Krug was a distinctively Turkish protection consisting of large round metal plates in the front and back connected by chain mail.
