I remember when we first got the email from Kasey and Erich asking if we were interested in flying to Central Argentina and Patagonia for their wedding. I definitely thought it sounded too good to be true, and tried my best not to get my hopes up. What they described was quite literally my dream wedding to shoot — equally adventurous as it was intimate.

The inspiration for this Argentinian wedding shoot stems from the root of gaucho culture and cuisine. Tribal patterns and rich earth tones of caramel brown, deep red and everest green were used to resemble the native attire of the Argentinean Gaucho and decorate the setting.

Kasey and Erich's wedding at Cavas Wine Lodge in Mendoza Argentina at the base of the Andes was absolutely gorgeous.

Kasey + Erich got married in Argentina and to celebrate their first adventure as a couple, we flew down to Patagonia and took an overnight backpacking trip to a lake near Mount Fitz Roy in El Chalten, Argentina. They put their wedding clothes on and we took epic wedding portraits at the lake.
