This is a recipe that's been passed along and enjoyed at Christmas for decades and as such I have no idea where the recipe originates. My mom would whip up these tasty marshmallow treats every Christmas. It was so hard for us kids to wait for them to set up in the freezer before sampling the goods. My grandma would make these every Christmas Eve and the smells triggered so many sweet memories of Christmas as a kid 🤍 1 stick of butter 🐄 1 bag (12 oz) semi sweet chocolate chips 🐄 1 bag of rainbow mini marshmallows 1 cup sweetened coconut shreds 1. In a small pot over medium heat, melt the full stick of cold butter and chocolate chips. Stir until chips have fully melted and is a smooth texture. Remove from heat and allow to cool for at least 5 minutes. 2. While the chocolate is cooling, prepare an area to roll your logs on.
