This is a craft from a teacher at Campbell Street. We have done one like this as well but I did not have a picture of it. A paper lunch bag was used upside down. A hole was cut out with flames added to the hole and above the bag. Pictures of the 3 friends were made and placed on straws so the kids can put them in and out of the furnace. Tissue paper can also be used to make the flames.

Gather a paper plate, red, orange, and yellow tissue paper, scissors, glue, and either people/gingerbread cut-outs or a marker. Tear the tissue paper into squares. Glue the tissue paper squares onto the plate. Glue 3 people cut-outs OR draw 3 people onto the “fiery furnace” plate. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were put in the fiery furnace, but they were not afraid, because they knew that God was with them! Talk with your child about times that God is with you too.
