Purple parakeet

April 2013- I got my first bird, a purple budgie. I named the bird Buddy. Buddy was literally my life. Everyday I would take Buddy out of his cage and he would sit on my shoulder 24/7. I would do everything, from eating to doing homework to getting ready for school, with him on my shoulder. Unfortunately only two weeks after I got Buddy, he passed away for an unknown reason. I loved Buddy and still miss him.
